The EORI and the WPA have partnered to conduct a study of the technical and economic characteristics of a hypothetical and idealized CO2 infrastructure in Wyoming. This is essentially a 'what-if' study that seeks to determine what an idealized pipeline infrastructure might look like as well as what the economic benefit of such a pipeline might be to the state government.
An open public meeting was held in Casper, WY on May 19, 2009 where Brian Jeffries from the Wyoming Pipeline Authority and Brian Reyes from the EORI presented the preliminary work that has already been completed by the WPA and EORI. Their presentations can be found on the WPA and EORI web pages.
This blog was set up by the EORI in hopes of garnering feedback from the greater public and obvious stakeholders in order to refine their approach.
